FAQ

  • Studio Moon Tokki currently has one designer making both illustrated products and crochet items. All items presented in the website and related social sites are handmade with love.

  • We are based in New Zealand.

  • We use a mix depending on the project. We have used acrylic, wool, cotton, and wool blended yarn for all our projects. All materials used for each project is mentioned in their respective product pages.

  • Yes, we absolutely can do so. But do take note that customisation of orders is dependent on what material is available in our location, and may incur additional time and cost in production. Also, please note that not all items can be customised either.

  • Yes, you can! If there is something you would specifically want made, please don’t hesitate to ask us about it. But we do reserve the right to say no if we believe we cannot create it for whatever reason.

  • Yes, we can, as long as the pattern provided is easy to understand. Keep in mind that since it is not our own pattern being used, production time and delivery will vary. However, keep in mind that the end results may not be exactly like the original expectations.

  • Unfortunately, no. Crochet takes a lot of time, effort and care to finish a product worth sharing. We don’t want to create something we are not confident enough to share, and quality takes time.

  • Care Instructions are always provided for every order made from us. It is imperative that you follow them to a T as these will help make your items last longer. With items that have felt pieces on them, DO NOT wash the item fully as this will destroy the felt details. Choose to spot clean items instead with a soft cloth and mild soap.

  • You simply add the item to your cart and pay at checkout. This will give us a list of items to create (all crochet items are made to order unless they are a digital PDF pattern) or collect (all stationery items are pre-made) and pack to ship at the nearest convenient time.

Should you purchase a digital downloadable product (i.e. downloadable content, digital PDF patterns, etc.) said files will be available for download as soon as payment has been made, and is only available for download within the next 24 hours from purchase. Should there be any issues with the purchased files, or if there are any errors that occur with any kind of purchase, don’t hesitate to contact us at StudioMoonTokki@gmail.com and we will help you sort things out accordingly.

  • Production of a crochet order begins after we receive 50% downpayment for the total of all items requested to be made. Usually, production of an item takes about a day to finish unless stated otherwise. The volume of an order will also affect the timeline of production. The recipient’s delivery address is also a factor to consider. We will only ship out the order once we have confirmed the receipt of the remaining balance which should include shipping costs.

Shipping time should normally take about 5-30 working days depending on courier traffic. Please keep in mind that there may be delays in delivery caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Rest assured, all items shipped out have a designated tracking number on them. So feel free to keep track of your parcels through this link.
